Seeding Rate: Weaver Seed's current reference range is 10–25 lb/acre, with approximately 20 lb/acre as the recommended target for a full-rate planting. Lower rates are commonly used when Persian clover is included as one component of a multi-species mixture. Adjust the final rate for seed form, planting method, seedbed conditions and intended use.

Persian clover is a flexible annual legume for operations that want seasonal legume growth without committing to a long-lived perennial clover. Its best fit depends on moisture, planting timing, companion species and how the stand will be terminated or grazed.
Establishment: Persian clover is a small-seeded legume and should be planted shallow into a firm seedbed with good seed-to-soil contact. A planting depth of approximately ⅛–½ inch is appropriate. Avoid burying seed too deeply. Adequate moisture during germination and early establishment is important.
Inoculation: Effective biological nitrogen fixation depends on compatible rhizobia and successful nodulation. Confirm current seed form and inoculation status when ordering.
OMRI-Listed Coating: Selected conventional Persian clover seed is available with an OMRI-Listed inoculant coating. An OMRI-Listed coating does not make conventional seed certified organic. Organic operations should confirm current seed status and applicable requirements with their certifier before planting.
Variety & Seed Form: Persian clover may be available in different coated seed forms and varieties. Availability changes by lot and season, so confirm the current option with Weaver Seed when ordering.
Management: Where flowering or pollinator support is a goal, allow part of the stand to reach bloom. Where volunteer plants are not desired, terminate before mature seed production. Grazing pressure should be managed so young stands are allowed to establish before intensive use.
