Weaver Seed is a family-owned seed company serving Western agriculture, dealers, ag-chem companies, retailers, growers, and commercial seed customers through wholesale seed, cover crops, forage, wildflowers, turf, custom seed mixes, retail packaging, seed production, sprouting seed, and seed cleaning and processing.
Who We Are
Weaver Seed grew from a straightforward idea: customers should be able to work with a seed company that understands agriculture, answers the phone, and helps solve real problems.
Today, our operations in California and Oregon allow us to serve agricultural dealers, growers, ag-chem companies, garden centers, retailers, seed companies, sprouting businesses, landscapers, and other commercial customers with a broad range of seed and seed-related services.
We are involved in more than simply moving seed from one place to another. Our work reaches from contracted seed production and cleaning to sourcing, blending, packaging, custom formulations, retail programs, ag-chem seed programs, and technical support.
That involvement throughout the seed process gives us a practical understanding of both the product in the bag and the agricultural, landscape, or retail market where that seed ultimately needs to perform.
What We Do

Custom Seed Mixes
Custom mixtures can be developed around crop type, rainfall, irrigation, soil conditions, grazing, erosion control, biomass, nitrogen, pollinators, landscape use, or other management objectives. Custom blending is supported through both our California and Oregon operations.
Ag-Chem Seed Programs
We support agricultural chemical companies and other agricultural suppliers with seed programs, custom mixtures, sourcing, blending, packaging, and product support designed around their customers and markets.
Retail & Custom-Branded Packaging
Retail-ready seed packaging, private-label programs, custom branding, and flexible package sizes allow dealers and retailers to build seed programs around their own customers and brand.
Seed Production
Our Oregon operation works with growers on contracted seed production and helps move seed from field production toward commercial markets.
