Family-Owned Seed Company
Rooted in Agriculture. Built Around Seed.
Weaver Seed is a family-owned seed company serving Western agriculture through wholesale seed, cover crops, forage, custom seed mixes, seed production, sprouting seed, and seed cleaning and processing.
Who We Are
Weaver Seed grew from a straightforward idea: customers should be able to work with a seed company that understands agriculture, answers the phone, and helps solve real problems in the field.
Today, our operations in Oregon and California allow us to serve dealers, growers, agricultural professionals, seed companies, sprouting businesses, and other commercial customers with a broad range of seed and seed-related services.
We are involved in more than simply moving seed from one place to another. Our work reaches from contracted seed production and cleaning to sourcing, blending, packaging, custom formulations, and technical support.
That involvement throughout the seed process gives us a practical understanding of both the product in the bag and the agricultural system where that seed ultimately needs to perform.
What We Do
More Than a Seed Supplier
Weaver Seed combines seed supply, production, processing, blending, and practical agronomic support across multiple areas of Western agriculture.
Wholesale Agricultural Seed
Cover crops, forage, pasture, range, erosion-control, turf, wildflowers, organic seed, brassicas, and other agricultural seed supplied for commercial customers.
Custom Seed Mixes
Seed mixtures can be developed around crop type, rainfall, irrigation, soil conditions, grazing, erosion, biomass, nitrogen, pollinators, and other management objectives.
Seed Production
Our Oregon operation works with growers on contracted seed production and helps move seed from field production toward commercial markets.
Cleaning & Processing
Seed cleaning and processing through our Scio, Oregon operation gives Weaver Seed additional control and capability within the seed supply chain.
Why Weaver Seed
Practical Solutions for Real Agricultural Systems
There is no single seed or mix that is right for every field. Rainfall, irrigation, soil texture, crop type, planting method, grazing pressure, termination timing, and management goals all influence what should be planted.
Our approach is to start with the problem the customer is trying to solve, then work backward toward the species and mixture that make sense.
Locally Rooted
Our Oregon and California operations keep us closely connected to the farms, crops, climates, and seed markets of the West.
Soil & Crop Focused
We look beyond species names and consider what a planting needs to accomplish—from soil coverage and rooting to forage, nutrient cycling, and pollinator habitat.
Flexible
Standard products solve many problems, but when they do not, custom seed mixtures allow us to build around the specific site and objective.
Involved in the Seed Process
Production, cleaning, sourcing, blending, packaging, and distribution give Weaver Seed visibility across multiple stages of the seed supply chain.
Our Mission
Sowing Seed for Success
Our mission is to help agricultural customers make better use of seed by providing dependable products, practical guidance, and solutions that support productive farms, healthier soils, resilient forage systems, and long-term agricultural performance.
We believe soil health and agricultural productivity should complement one another. The goal is not simply to plant more species—it is to select the right species, for the right field, for the right reason.
