Daikon Radish

Triticale

Oriental Mustard

Establishment & Management
Managing Pollinator Brassica Mix

Planting
Establish into a prepared seedbed with good seed-to-soil contact. Avoid planting the mixture excessively deep, since the brassica components are relatively small seeded.
Moisture
Adequate moisture during germination and early establishment supports a more uniform stand and helps reduce dominance by only the fastest-emerging species.
Flowering Management
If pollinator habitat is an objective, allow at least part of the stand to reach flowering. Terminating too early eliminates much of the flowering benefit.
Termination
