Planting Festulolium
For a straight stand, approximately 25–35 lb per acre is a practical general range.
Plant into a firm seedbed with good seed-to-soil contact. Because Festulolium seed size and growth habit resemble its fescue and ryegrass parents, shallow establishment is preferred.
When Festulolium is included as one component of a pasture mixture, reduce the rate according to the desired proportion of the finished stand.
